The 10th Spain-China Forum will be held in Madrid February 5th and 6thOrganized by the Spain-China Council Foundation and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Forum is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation.
The Spain-China Forum is the pmain platform for dialogue between civil societies in Spain and ChinaIt has been held alternately between the two countries since 2003, focusing on an agenda of strategic issues for the bilateral relationship.
The last edition of the Forum took place in Beijing in September 2024, during the visit of the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, to China. The last edition organized in Spain, the eighth, was also held in Madrid, in 2015.
Crucial issues for the bilateral agenda
The Forum's working sessions will be held at the Royal Casino of MadridThe opening day, February 5, will be attended by high-ranking officials from the Spanish and Chinese governments. A round table discussion will follow. sports diplomacy.
On February 6, in the morning, the Forum will host two more round tables: the first on legal collaboration, with a focus on cross-border trade and third markets; and the second on business cooperationwith an emphasis on bilateral investments in sectors such as electric vehicles and batteries.
