The event, which will be developed under the theme of the circular economy, will be sponsored by Ibercaja for the second consecutive year.
The third edition of Global Supply Chain Research Forum, organized during May 29 and 30 by Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC), research center promoted by the Government of Aragon in collaboration with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), It will serve as a meeting point for managers of large companies in the logistics sector at a global level.
This is an established and highly useful event in the sector for discussing the latest trends in logistics and supply chain. With the sponsorship of IbercajaFor the second year in a row, the event takes place over two days.

This second day, with the theme "Value networks based on the circular economy", will pay special attention to the principle defended by the European Union which advocates that new business models should be guided by "reduce, reuse and recycle".

Similarly, it has been emphasized that it is an event that brings together the business sector, with visits from representatives of leading companies, and the academic sector, with presentations of research projects by students and professors. The first will address the need to consider businesses as part of a value chain, with the aim of achieving sustainable development that reduces environmental impact. It will also discuss the opportunities offered by a shift in perspective regarding the role of the supply chain in the agri-food sector, which could foster rural development and job creation.
The second panel will delve into examples of companies that have been able to innovate in their value chains, in a context of increasing supply chain complexity as the boundaries between markets blur and the pace of change accelerates. This space will also serve as a forum to discuss the key points that will guide the design of future networks.
To achieve this, they will have representatives from leading companies in their sectors, such as Carreras, Procter & Gamble (P&G), DHL or SonaeIn the previous edition, 20 entities from 14 different countries participated.
